HARWARDS EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PTY LTD Harwards Employment Services Pty Ltd (ABN 63 651 326 788) is seeking a full-time Analyst Programmer to design, develop, test, maintain and document software applications and program code for enterprise business systems used across our corporate group. Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will analyse business and system requirements, write and modify program code, and test and debug applications supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP), point-of-sale, e-commerce, inventory management and customer relationship management functions across a multi-entity operating environment. This is a hands-on programming role combining requirements analysis with day-to-day coding, testing and debugging responsibility.

The successful candidate will be expected to write, test and maintain program code to agreed technical specifications, and to take ownership of software quality, functionality and documentation from design through to deployment and post-implementation support. Benefits The salary for this full-time position is $95,000 – $105,000 + Superannuation Task & responsibilities Design, write, test, debug and maintain program code for enterprise software applications and customised ERP modules using Python, JavaScript, XML and SQL, in accordance with agreed system requirements and technical specifications.

Research and analyse business and system needs, identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing applications and processes, and translate findings into functional specifications and technical documentation. Write and maintain program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications, including for inventory management, warehouse operations, financial processes and intercompany business transactions. Test, debug, diagnose and correct errors and faults in software applications within established testing protocols and quality standards, to ensure programs perform to specification.

Design,



code and maintain integrations between enterprise business applications, e-commerce platforms and point-of-sale systems, including development of APIs to support order processing, product synchronisation and financial reconciliation. Develop and code data migration, validation and automation tools to support system upgrades, business continuity and data integrity. Coordinate and execute testing of software solutions in staging environments, deploy code to production, validate outcomes and provide post-deployment technical support.

Write and maintain technical program documentation, end-user guidance and operational procedures for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide advice and guidance on software design options, including evaluating and costing proposed system changes, upgrades and purchases. Maintain high standards of code quality, version control, documentation, security and data governance across all development work.

Solid programming skills in Python, JavaScript, XML, SQL and Bash/shell scripting. Demonstrated experience testing, debugging and correcting errors in application code. Experience with Git and structured software deployment practices.

Demonstrated ability to analyse business and system requirements and translate them into functional specifications and working code. Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with Python-based enterprise ERP module development, including XML view definitions, component-based JavaScript front-end frameworks,



and REST API integration with e-commerce platforms covering product synchronisation, inventory and order processing, is essential. Experience integrating AI or LLM APIs into internal business workflows is highly regarded. Essential Skills Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, XML, SQL and Bash/shell scripting.

Demonstrated experience testing, debugging and correcting errors in application code. Experience with Git and structured software deployment practices. Demonstrated ability to analyse business and system requirements and translate them into functional specifications and working code.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Python-based enterprise ERP module development, including XML view definitions, component-based JavaScript front-end frameworks, and REST API integration with e-commerce platforms covering product synchronisation, inventory and order processing, is essential.

Experience integrating AI or LLM APIs into internal business workflows is highly regarded. Qualification & experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a closely related ICT discipline. At least one year of relevant experience as an Analyst Programmer or in a closely related programming role involving requirements analysis, coding, testing, debugging and system support.

Experience coding for enterprise business applications or ERP systems is highly regarded. Experience working within a multi-entity business environment is advantageous. About Company Harwards Employment Services Pty Ltd (ABN 63 651 326 788) is the employing entity for this position.
