About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microvellum Draftspersonto join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality joinery projects.

This position directly supports production and is ideal for someone who combines solid technical drafting and joinery skills with a practical understanding of manufacturing processes.

Please Note - this is an onsite position based at our central location in Beenleigh.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce detailed joinery shop drawings and construction documentation using Microvellum
- Prepare CNC-ready files, cut lists, and material schedules
- Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and design documentation
- Work collaboratively with project managers, estimators, architects, builders, and manufacturing teams
- Resolve technical and design challenges while maintaining project timelines




- Coordinate documentation with site measurements and manufacturing requirements
- Contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of Microvellum libraries and drafting processes
- Provide project reporting and status updates as required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiencies

About You

- Minimum 2 years' experience working with Microvellum in a joinery or cabinetmaking environment
- Strong understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and hardware
- Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

You’ll Stand Out If You Have

- Trade background in cabinetmaking or joinery
- Experience working on commercial joinery, fit-out, education, hospitality, or high-end residential projects
- The ability to work closely with manufacturing and workshop teams
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
