Cefn Pty Ltd is a progressive, family-owned, and operated business specialising in all aspects of pig production. We have been farming the Clifton district since 1933, and today we employ over 140 staff across multiple sites located in the Clifton, Leyburn and Yelarbon areas.

The Cefn team is made up of field, technical and support staff. Working together, we ensure our supply chain from beginning to end operates within the highest standards of welfare, quality, and efficiency. As a modern agri-business, Cefn also owns and operates its own genetics department, feed mill, transport, construction, and maintenance divisions.

The position will be based at our Leyburn site, approximately 50 minutes from Toowoomba and Warwick.

The Role





We are looking for both entry-level and experienced labourers to join our Construction team. The role involves working on current construction of intensive piggery buildings including installation of watering and feed systems, grid penning systems and ventilation systems. You can expect to work between 45 to 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. All tools are provided by Cefn.

Wage will be negotiated based on skills and experience.

Your Skills

- Experience in either carpentry, plumbing or concreting are well regarded.
- Construction white card.
- Other industry tickets will be highly regarded such as forklift and EWP above and below 11 metres.
- Current Driver’s Licence.

You will be required to comply with allsafety, quality and environmental hygiene requirements and meet the appropriate compliance standards.
