Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Telecom BSS Solution Architect with 15+ years of experience in designing, transforming, and modernizing Business Support Systems (BSS) within telecom environments. The role demands solid expertise in Billing, Legacy Application Transformation, and End-to-End BSS Architecture, with exposure to large-scale telecom transformations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across Telecom BSS domains including Order Management, Charging, Billing, Payments, and Revenue Management.
- Define and drive BSS transformation and modernization strategy, including migration from legacy systems to next-gen digital architecture.
- Perform legacy application assessment, dependency analysis, and decommissioning planning for large-scale telecom ecosystems.
- Architect scalable billing ecosystems including Charging, Invoicing, Payments, Dunning, Collections, and Revenue Assurance.
- Design integration architecture across BSS, OSS, and third-party systems using API-led and event-driven approaches.
- Lead E2E solution design and blueprinting aligned with TM Forum standards (eTOM, ODA, Open APIs).
- Conduct business process modeling, gap analysis, and solution design for telecom transformation programs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance customer journeys and digital experience in BSS landscapes.
- Drive Agile-based delivery, ensuring alignment between architecture,



business outcomes, and delivery teams.

Mandatory Skills & Expertise

Domain Expertise

- Strong experience in Telecom BSS stack:
- oBilling, Charging, Invoicing
- oCRM, CPQ, Order Management
- oRevenue Assurance, Payments, Collections
- Deep understanding of telecom value chains (Lead-to-Order, Order-to-Cash, Usage-to-Pay)

Billing Specialization

- Hands-on experience in:
- oBilling transformations and migrations
- oProduct catalog & pricing management
- oMediation, rating, invoicing, and settlement systems
- Experience with billing platforms such as BSCS or similar enterprise systems

Legacy Modernization

- Proven experience in:
- oLegacy system rationalization and decommissioning
- oMigration to cloud-native or microservices-based architecture
- oDependency and remediation planning for legacy applications

Architecture & Integration

- Architecture frameworks:
- oTM Forum (ODA, eTOM, Open APIs)
- Integration:
- oSOA, Microservices
- oREST/SOAP APIs, ESB, API Gateways
- oEvent-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)

Experience & Qualifications

- 15+ years of experience in Telecom IT/BSS domain
- Minimum 8+ years in Billing and Revenue Management systems
- Strong experience in solution architecture & large-scale telecom transformation programs
- Experience working across B2B, B2C, and wholesale telecom segments
- Certifications preferred:
- oTOGAF
- oTM Forum certifications
- oSAFe / Agile
