About the role

As a Superannuation Advice Consultant within Advice Services, you will be the first point of contact for members seeking guidance on their superannuation. You will provide high-quality general advice, answer inbound enquiries and help members understand complex superannuation matters in a simple and practical way. You will also identify when members would benefit from personal financial advice and connect them with the appropriate advice service.

This role plays an important part in delivering exceptional member outcomes and ensuring members feel informed and supported throughout their financial journey. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will build trusted relationships, contribute to positive member experiences and uphold the highest standards of compliance and professionalism while supporting CBUS's commitment to member-first service.

Key Accountabilities

- Deliver high-quality general advice and support members to make informed superannuation decisions.




- Manage inbound and outbound member enquiries across phone, email and digital channels.
- Refer members to the appropriate financial advice services when personal advice is required.
- Create positive member experiences through personalised service, explicit communication and first contact resolution.
- Maintain compliance standards, achieve performance targets and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

What will you bring?

- Experience in a member services, superannuation, financial advice or related environment, ideally within a superannuation fund.
- RG146 accreditation and a strong understanding of superannuation and financial advice principles.
- Knowledge of superannuation products, contributions, insurance, beneficiary nominations and investment options.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- A customer-focused, adaptable and resilient approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
