The Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic, driven and hands on Assistant Store Manager to join our successful store, Ralph Lauren David Jones Womenswear Elizabeth St, Sydney. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible working with the store manager to drive sales, motivate your team, while looking for opportunities to further grow your business.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Store Manager to manage the sales team to maximise sales and profit performance
Motivate the team to achieve weekly targets and store standards
Proven track record of success, including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management and co-workers
Supporting with the recruitment and selection of great talent into the team
Collaborate with the Brand Image team to identify VM opportunities and deliver on plans
Drivestore operations including visual merchandising, stock control, BOH processes and WFM/roster management
Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the business
This role may require the ability to safely perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, bending,
lifting, and repetitive movements
About you
Retail Management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred
A genuine love and understanding of our brand
Proven track record in sales, customer service and managing performance
Strong merchandise and stock management experience
Excellent team player who enjoys motivating and mentoringthe team
Is confident and comfortable in making autonomous decisions when required
Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the business
Sound understanding of fashion and the retail workplace, including trends, fashion and competitors
Strong business acumen
