Senior Associate / Special Counsel - Corporate & Commercial

Our client is one of Australia's largest and vastly growing law firm with a leading reputation.They prioritise personal growth and career objectives, while connecting you with highly skilled and motivated professionals. Their Sydney office is now looking for a Senior Associate / Special Counsel level lawyer to work in their Corporate & Commercial team.

About the role

We are actively seeking an Senior Associate / Special Counsel with expertise in Corporate & Commercial law to join a well regarded Sydney specialist team.

This rewarding role offers exceptional career opportunity for advancement and growth, working alongside professionals who share similar goals in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including advice on unfair contract terms.
- Supporting M&A; transactions with IP, technology, and privacy expertise.
- Advising on the Privacy Act and drafting related policies and documentation.
- Advising on licensing and commercialisation of technologies and brands.

About you

You will have 4+ years PQE experience in corporate & commercial practice with strong contracting experience.

In addition, you will have:

- Experience with M&A; transactions
- Excellent writing and document preparation abilities
- Strong analytical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills
