The Opportunity

This role will suit a senior architecture professional who can translate business and technical requirements into practical, secure and scalable solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and technology partners to shape architecture, assess impacts and support successful delivery.

What You’ll Do

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across enterprise applications, APIs, microservices, integration, data and telecommunications platforms.
- Assess business requirements and technical documents to produce high-level designs, detailed solution designs and architecture documentation.
- Define secure, scalable and compliant solutions aligned to functional, non-functional and regulatory requirements.
- Provide impact assessments covering technical, delivery, risk and commercial considerations.
- Document integration patterns, interface mappings, dependencies and technical specifications.
- Manage solution risks early and present architecture recommendations to governance forums.
- Support presales, delivery planning, estimation, issue resolution and stakeholder communication across cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful, you will be an Australian citizen with strong architecture experience across telecommunications, enterprise applications, integration, cloud, data and secure system design.

- 10+ years’ ICT experience across SDLC,



system integration, data modelling and complex technology delivery.
- Proven solution architecture experience in enterprise telecommunications environments.
- Strong knowledge of European Standardisation Organisation (ETSI) standards.
- Experience with Ericsson IMS and Packet Core architecture.
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP voice/mobile core, IP networks, transport networks or telecommunications network architecture.
- Solid knowledge of microservices, service-oriented and/or event-driven architecture.
- Hands‑on understanding of Java, C++, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, OpenAPI, SQL/NoSQL databases, API gateways, messaging and container platforms.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, compute, virtualisation, storage, databases and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of API security, OAuth, JWT, application security and data protection principles.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently across multiple priorities in matrix, multi-vendor and Agile delivery environments.

Highly Regarded

- Couchbase, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Hadoop experience.
- Red Hat OpenShift, Splunk, Zabbix, GitLab, Bamboo or Jenkins experience.
- Jira, Confluence, TDP and Agile delivery experience.
