Talenza have been engaged by a global private sector company to find a Software Development Manager for their Brisbane based team. The successful candidate will be experienced in leading complex multiyear software transformation programs and will be adept at translating technical information into lamens terms for senior stakeholders. This role requires time in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.
Base pay range
A$200,000.00/yr - A$225,000.00/yr

Key Requirements
- Leadership experience managing software development teams (5+ years) with strong people management, mentoring, and performance oversight.
- Proven expertise with software development methodologies (Waterfall meets Agile) and full SDLC management.
- Strong technical background in up-to-date languages and frameworks (Intersystems Cache/IRIS, C# .NET, .NET Core, Java, Python, Angular 7+, REST,
Bootstrap).
- Strong knowledge with databases and infrastructure (relational & non-relational DBs, .NET, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of information security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, privacy, software security, data integrity).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, translating technical information into lamens terms for senior stakeholders.
