Network Development Specialist - Automotive
Harmony Auto is an international automotive group specialising in premium and new energy vehicle retail.
With the continued expansion of our automotive retail network across Australia, we are seeking an experienced Network Development Specialist to support the strategic development and delivery of new dealership locations.
The role will be responsible for dealership network planning, site identification and feasibility analysis, lease negotiation, design coordination and new dealership project delivery.

The role will be responsible for dealership network planning, site identification and feasibility analysis, lease negotiation, design coordination and new dealership project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Network Planning & Site Selection
- Support the development and implementation of the company’s dealership network expansion strategy across Australia.
- Identify potential locations and properties for new dealership development.
- Conduct site feasibility assessments covering location, catchment, demographics, traffic, accessibility, competitor presence and commercial potential.
- Analyse market and location data to provide recommendations on network coverage and future dealership locations.
- Prepare site comparison, feasibility and recommendation reports for management approval.
Property & Lease Negotiation
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial property agents, landlords, developers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct property inspections and coordinate due diligence for shortlisted sites.
- Support commercial negotiations covering rental, lease terms, incentives, fit-out requirements and other property conditions.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders through the negotiation process and support the execution of lease agreements.
Dealership Design & Development
- Coordinate dealership concept design, layouts, architectural drawings and development proposals.
- Review drawings and project proposals to ensure they meet operational requirements and relevant brand/OEM standards.
- Liaise with designers, architects, consultants, developers and internal stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Support the optimisation of showroom, customer, office, workshop and operational layouts.
Project Management & Recent Site Delivery
- Manage and coordinate new dealership projects from site confirmation through design, construction, fit-out and handover.
- Establish project timelines, milestones and action plans and monitor delivery progress.
- Coordinate developers, landlords, contractors, consultants, OEM representatives and internal departments.
- Identify project risks, delays and outstanding matters and drive timely resolution.
- Support new dealership readiness and opening activities.
Analysis & Management Reporting
- Conduct network, property and project-related data analysis to support management decision‑making.
- Prepare professional network development proposals, business cases and project updates.
- Produce high‑quality PowerPoint presentations for senior management.
- Maintain network development pipelines, project trackers and regular progress reports.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in automotive network development, property development, site acquisition, retail network expansion or related project management.
- Strong understanding of the Australian market, including commercial property, location assessment and site feasibility.
- Experience in site selection and location/data analysis.
- Experience dealing with commercial property agents, landlords and developers.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills, including exposure to lease negotiations.
- Experience coordinating construction, fit‑out or new‑site development projects.
- Ability to understand and review architectural drawings, layouts and development proposals.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently prepare high‑quality management reports and PowerPoint presentations.
Highly Regarded
- Previous automotive OEM or dealership network development experience.
- Experience developing automotive dealerships, showrooms, service centres or similar retail networks.
- Strong data analysis and location intelligence capability.
- Background or knowledge in architecture, design, construction or property development.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin communication skills.
