WorkPac is seeking an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant to join a specialised heavy industrial workshop in Singleton supporting the repair and overhaul of heavy-duty radiators and cooling systems used within the mining industry.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist with the repair, servicing and refurbishment of heavy-duty cooling components.
Your Duties Will Include
- Assisting with radiator and cooling component overhauls.
- Disassembling radiators, coolers and associated components.
- Inspecting and preparing components for repair.
- Cleaning, repairing and reassembling cooling equipment.
- Supporting workshop operations while maintaining high safety standards.
What You Will Need
- Previous mechanical, workshop, manufacturing or heavy industrial experience.
- Experience assisting mechanical trades.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
Desirable
- LF Forklift Licence.
