About the Role

Our Mt Kelly Operations (Lady Annie mine), located approximately 120km north-northwest of Mount Isa, has been an operational copper mine for over 10 years. We are currently seeking skilled and safety-focused Mobile Maintenance Serviceman to join our team and contribute to the growing success of our processing operations.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent working, you will be responsible for ensuring that Austral’s mining and mobile plant/equipment are serviced to ensure maximum plant availability and to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Refuelling mining and mobile plant/equipment,
- Routine maintenance,
- Assist fitters where required,
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times,
- Equipment servicing including oil and filter changes,




- Machine inspections, reporting on defects and checking fluid levels daily.
- Work within a small maintenance team dedicated to achieving our set targets.
- Follow site procedures, safety requirements, and environmental controls.
- Work as part of a team to support secure and efficient plant operations.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who work well in a team, take pride in their work, and are committed to maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Requirements

- Previous experience working as a serviceman on a mite site or working in mining and/or heavy earthmoving industries,
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative,
- Possess a current manual driver’s license (HR Licence preferred),
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, and
- A commitment to a positive safety culture.
