Catering Assistant for Pastry Department – Casual

Elizabeth Andrews Catering is looking for a reliable and enthusiasticCatering Assistant to join our pastry team. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Both role plays a pivotal role in supporting the team to meet production goals and deliver outstanding products to clients.

Hours:

5AM start weekdays only (Casual | 28-32 hours/week)

About the Role:

Morning focus: Pack and prepare pastry orders accurately and on time to meet client specifications.

After packing: Assist the pastry team with basic preparation and finishing tasks as required.

Support a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and high product quality.

Assist in the daily production of bakery and pastry items to meet catering orders and demand.

Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards.





What We’re Looking For:

Punctual, dependable, and able to start early mornings.

Experience in a bakery, pastry, or catering environment is highly desirable.

Energetic and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Familiarity with food safety standards and protocols.
