We are currently seeking a junior/trade assistant to join our small family business in Southport. No experience necessary!
About the Role
- Cleaning and tidying workshop floor and machinery
- Prepping finalised jobs for painting/galvanising/powder coating using hand and power tools
- Re-stocking steel lengths onto shelving
- Assisting tradespeople with workshop and onsite jobs
- Manual handling of job components on workshop floor
About You
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manual handle componentry and steel materials
- Minimum age requirement of 16 years for this role
- Full Australian work rights
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Ability to think outside the box and problem solve

- Small family run business, operating on the Gold Coast since 1972
- We specialise in steel, aluminium and stainless steel fabrication
- General fabrication and small one-off jobs
- Looking for a long term employee to fit in with our current team
- Could lead to apprenticeship for the right candidate
We are locally situated in Southport.
