Collections Officer - Global ASX-Listed Software Company

We're hiring a Collections Officer to join a global, ASX-listed software company in an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Joining an established team of eight, you'll manage accounts across Australia, New Zealand and East Asia , with some exposure to the US. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys investigating payments, solving problems and working with stakeholders across different regions and currencies.

You don't necessarily need to come from a traditional collections background. We're open to experience across payments, banking operations, reconciliations, financial operations, accounts or collections .

What you'll be doing

Manage collections and account queries across multiple regions

Investigate and trace payments

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

Manage disputes and esc…

Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders globally

Manage larger-value items and ledgers

Ability to work across different currencies, including exposure to FX and withholding tax





Around 80-90% of communication is via email , with phone calls generally used for escalations and more complex matters.

What we're looking for

Experience across collections, payments, reconciliations, banking operations, accounts or similar

Strong written communication skills and confidence picking up the phone when required

Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems

Proactive, curious and confident investigating issues

Strong attention to detail

Good judgement and the ability to know when something needs further investigation or escalation

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment

What's on offer

$40-42per hour + super

Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension

Hybrid working - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the Alexandria office, with one day from home
