We currently have Permanent Part-Time vacancies available totalling 1.88 (Full Time Equivalent) and Casual opportunities with possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

Position Profile and Role

In this role, you will prepare and provide a quality food service to patients and maintain safe food hygiene in the catering department at FSH Cockburn Health.

To be considered for this role you must have proven:

- Knowledge of food preparation and plating practices and techniques within a hospital kitchen
- Knowledge of protected food hygiene principles
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and techniques.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH)

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services. These include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.Adjacent to the hospital, the FSH Medihotel operates within the Aegis Health Building and provides an innovative extension of FSH healthcare services, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Cockburn Health

Cockburn Health is a contemporary 75 bed Mental Health Hospital which opened on 5th August 2024. This is a modern and welcoming facility where you will experience being part of a compassionate and supportive team.
