About the Role

This market-leading Aviation company requires an experienced Trade Assistant to work in its South Brisbane workshop.

Tasks & responsibilities

Confident with hand tools and power tools

Cleaning & disassembly and masking in preparation for painting of Aircraft wheels and other components. Training provided.

AME Mechanical or Structural cert or aviation experience an advantage

Carry out related trade assistant tasks as requested

Assist on workshop tasks with/without other technicians as requested

Ensure assigned areas are maintained in condition as required by the Workshop manager and in line with Regulator and OH&S; requirements

Commercial component paint experience is highly desired

Aviation experience is beneficial but not an essential requirement

Job Offer

3 months initial contract, immediate start with potential to go permanent.

Full-time work and stability, plenty of overtime outstanding rates.

38hr working week, Monday-Friday with an option for overtime as required.
