We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Blasting & Painting Tradesman to join our growing team for site-based work across Brisbane and surrounding areas on various project sites .

About the Role

This is a hands-on role working across a variety of industrial projects, including tank farms, oil & gas facilities. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality surface preparation and protective coating application in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Abrasive blasting and surface preparation to required specifications




- Application of industrial protective coatings (including multi-coat systems)
- Working on tank farms, pipelines, structural steel, and industrial assets
- Ensuring adherence to safety, QA/QC, and environmental standards
- Equipment setup, maintenance, and clean-down

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in industrial blasting and painting
- Experienced in the use and maintenance of Airless and conventional spray equipment
- Ability to apply a wide range of Industrial Coatings to specification
- Background in tank farm, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial coatings systems and specifications
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based workplace
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Current construction industry tickets (e.g., White Card)
- Confined Space / Working at Heights
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Experience with 100% solids tank linings (Advantageous)
- High Risk EWP & Forklift license (Advantageous)
