Lancer Worldwide, a Hoshizaki Company, is a global leader in beverage dispensing equipment. We create innovative products that support customers around the world—and we are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Warehouse Operative to join our Silverwater operations team.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced high-reach forklift operator who takes pride in accurate stock handling, safe work practices and delivering the right product to the right place, on time.
Summary
As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the safe and efficient day-to-day running of our warehouse. Your work will directly contribute to inventory accuracy, timely customer dispatches and a well-organised workplace.
This is more than a basic pick-and-pack role. You will be trusted to operate high-reach equipment, complete accurate system transactions, manage stock movements and help maintain solid warehouse standards.

Key Performance Indicators:
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors in the Warehouse in line with company policy and statutory and legal requirements.
Report all near misses, incidents, hazards and accidents promptly in line with company policy and procedures.
Ensure all inbound stock is checked, receipted and put away accurately into the correct bin locations within required timeframes.
Ensure all production orders, floor stock orders and transfers allocated to the role are picked and completed accurately and on time.
What you’ll do
Receive, unload, inspect and receipt inbound stock against delivery documentation and system requirements.
Operate high-reach forklifts and other authorised material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Put away stock into correct bin locations and replenish pick faces to support efficient stock flow.
Pick, pack, label and prepare customer, production, transfer and internal orders for dispatch.
Complete RF‑scanner and warehouse/ERP system transactions accurately.
Check quantities,
identify damaged or discrepant stock, and promptly report issues to the Warehouse Team Leader.
Support cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory investigations.
Complete daily equipment pre‑start checks and basic equipment‑care records.
Assist with loading activities and ensure orders meet transport, quality and customer requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse, including strong housekeeping and bin‑location discipline.
Follow all safety, quality, manual‑handling and company procedures, including the use of required PPE.
Contribute practical ideas to improve warehouse safety, workflow and efficiency.
What you’ll bring
A current Australian forklift licence.
Demonstrated recent experience operating a high‑reach/reach truck in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment.
Previous warehouse, logistics or storeperson experience.
Experience using RF scanners and completing accurate stock transactions.
Sound computer and data‑entry skills; experience with warehouse‑management or ERP systems is highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in stock checking, receipting, picking and dispatch.
A safety‑first mindset and consistent commitment to safe work practices.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to safely perform the inherent requirements of a physically active warehouse role, including regular standing, walking, bending and manual handling of items up to 20 kg.
Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
Experience with cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory discrepancy investigation.
Experience with dispatch preparation, carrier paperwork and freight collection processes.
Experience supporting production orders,
internal transfers or replenishment activities.
Exposure to 5S, lean warehousing or continuous‑improvement activities.
Hours and roster
This role is based at our Silverwater warehouse and operates primarily across Monday to Friday.
A short Saturday shift forms part of a planned rotating roster. When rostered to work on a Saturday, weekday hours will be adjusted in line with the roster and all applicable pay and employment entitlements.
Typical Saturday hours: 7:00am – 12:00 pm
