What you'll be learning:
- Power distribution design principles and standards
- Preparing technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications
- Assisting with overhead and underground power network designs
- Site investigations and data collection
- Producing design documentation and project reports
- Working with GIS, surveying and other industry technologies
What you need:
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Genuine interest in engineering, design, or the power industry
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
