Physiotherapist Grade 2 Acute and Complex Care (Special Medicine) | Full-time | Fixed-term until March 2027 | Parental leave cover

About the Role:

Join a supportive and high-performing Acute and Complex Care team where you'll build advanced clinical skills while making a meaningful impact on patients with complex medical needs. Working primarily within our Haematology and Oncology programs, you'll manage a varied inpatient caseload, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and contribute to best-practice, person-centred care.

This role also offers the opportunity to supervise Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, while developing your leadership, teaching and quality improvement skills. Whether you're an experienced Grade 2 looking to broaden your expertise or a confident Grade 1 ready to take the next step, you'll be supported by experienced senior clinicians in a large tertiary health service that is committed to your professional growth.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:

- Clinical experience in acute medicine physiotherapy in a hospital setting, preferrably in haematology and/or oncology physiotherapy
- Good clinical reasoning skills with a passion for implementing evidence-based practice
- Passion for providing clinical education
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Ambition to grow your clinical, leadership, teaching and quality improvement skills
- Proactive and team player attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Mandatory Requirements:

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or recognised equivalent degree
