About the role
Join RMH's Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology team as a Grade 3 Senior Clinician Physiotherapist, providing expert clinical leadership across acute, subacute and community service.
In this role, you will use your specialist clinical expertise to lead high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy practice while supporting the development of clinicians and the broader profession. You will supervise Grade 2 physiotherapists, lead education and career development, and contribute to research, quality improvement, risk management and service innovation.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, you will help shape physiotherapy services and strengthen patient care, with opportunities to build partnerships across the organisation and with external agencies.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide leadership of the physiotherapy service in the Emergency Department to ensure evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care
- Ensure excellence in clinical care provision
- Work autonomously and within the team
- Work in your scope of practice and seek help where required
- Contribute to organisation-wide and service/division initiatives and planning activities
- Initiate continuous quality improvement activities and projects both within the clinical team and department as require
About You
- Extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, ideally within an Emergency Department or advanced musculoskeletal clinic
- Postgraduate qualifications in Musculoskeletal, Sports or Advanced Scope Physiotherapy, completed or in progress
- High-level clinical reasoning and advanced clinical knowledge
- Well-developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
