We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced and diploma qualified (or studying towards) early childhood educator to assist in the provision of a quality early childhood program at our Merri service.

We are currently seeking an appropriately experienced and diploma qualified (or studying towards) early childhood educator to assist in the provision of a quality early childhood program at our Merri service.

To be successful in this role you will need

Qualifications

- Diploma in children's services or equivalent or evidence that the applicant is working towards obtaining.
- Current employee working with children check
- Current Level 2 first aid certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

Experience

- Demonstrated prior experience in an early childhood setting.

Key selection criteria 1

Strong Communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children,



families and staff.

Key selection criteria 2

Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the Victorian Early Years Development Framework, Early Years Framework and the National Quality Standards

Key selection criteria 3

Knowledge and understanding of Child Protected Standards and Mandatory Reporting requirements
