About the Role

As an Allied Health Assistant supporting our Speech Pathology team, you'll work closely with our Therapists to prepare and deliver speech and language therapy programs that help clients reach their individual goals. You'll support day‑to‑day therapy activities, assist with session preparation, collect observations, and engage with families, carers and key stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care.

What You'll Be Doing

Implement speech pathology therapy activities under the guidance of qualified Speech Pathologists

Prepare resources, materials and therapy spaces for individual and group speech and language sessions

Observe and report on client communication progress, maintaining accurate case notes

Support communication with families, carers, educators and health providers

Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities

Contribute to a collaborative, client‑focused culture

About You

Availability to work consistently on Saturdays

Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance, relevant experience, or current enrolment in a Speech Pathology degree

Current Victorian Driver's Licence

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A commitment to customer service and quality improvement

Passionate about patient care

Ability to engage all members of the multidisciplinary team

Current Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to apply)

Previous experience working with children and young people

An understanding of cultural diversity
