- Sunbury, VIC 3429 - Male and Female Support Worker (Most have Experience working with autism spectrum disorder (Level 3) Severe Intellectual Disability)

- Craigieburn, VIC 3064 -Male Support workers (Complex Behavior Experience Required)

Mimosa Care is a trusted provider of person-centered support services for individuals with varying needs. Our goal is to empower participants by delivering tailored care that supports independence and encourages community connection. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Male and Female Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across multiple locations in Melbourne. These roles involve providing high-quality support to participants within Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one support to participants, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.

- Promote independence and self-sufficiency by encouraging and teaching life skills.

- Foster a safe and inclusive workplace where participants can thrive.

- Maintain accurate and confidential participant records.





- Communicate effectively with participants, their families, and the care team.

- Respond to participant's unique needs and challenges with empathy and patience.

Qualifications:

- Cert III/IV in Disability or equivalent.

- NDIS Screening Check

- NDIS Induction Module

- NDIS Orientation Module

- Previous experience in a support worker role or a related field is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others' lives.

- Ability to adapt to various participant needs and preferences.

- First Aid and CPR
