GENERAL LABOURER - STRUCTURAL LANDSCAPING (Please note this is not softscape horticulture). IMMEDIATE START
Landscape Constructions Mackay is looking for a reliable, hardworking General Laborer or apprentice to join our growing structural landscaping team.
We specialise in high-quality residential landscaping and structural works throughout Mackay, and we’re looking for someone who is keen to work outdoors, learn new skills and become part of a professional team or if you're interested in a career within the structural landscaping sector.
The role will involve:
- General laboring and site preparation
- Assisting with retaining walls and structural landscaping
- Paving, concreting and turf installation
- Moving and preparing materials
- Digging, levelling and compaction
- Keeping worksites clean, organised and safe
- Assisting qualified tradesmen with day-to-day works
- Using hand and power tools
- Following instructions and working as part of a team
What we're looking for:
- Reliable and punctual
- Robust work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work well within a team
- Previous structural landscaping, construction or laboring experience is an advantage but not essential
- White Card preferred
- Driver’s license is a must
