About the Role
Working as part of a busy yard and warehouse team, you will assist with general yard, warehouse and manual labouring duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
Duties Include
- General yard and warehouse duties
- Loading and unloading goods and materials
- Moving and storing products and materials
- Forklift operation, where required
- Picking, packing and preparing orders
- Keeping the yard and work areas clean, tidy and organised
- Assisting with general manual labouring tasks
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Other duties as required
About You
Our client is seeking someone who is reliable, physically fit and willing to get involved in a range of tasks.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Current forklift licence – preferred
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, labouring or similar role
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual tasks, including lifting, bending and squatting
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, day shift
- Own transport and current driver's licence – highly regarded
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
- A positive, can-do attitude
