WHAT WE DO:

Goodrose are support coordinators with knowledge in complex and psychosocial settings. We really know our stuff and expect the best from connections for our participants.

Our Coordinators and Recovery Coaches have all come from complimentary fields of work, counselling, coaching, psychology, occupational therapy, nursing, mental health, outreach social work.

our team takes a proactive stance in working with participants and tracking the outcomes of connections, we set high standard for ourselves and work hard to maintain our high levels of service.

Our team is focused on ensuring participants achieve goals, with value for money. We closely monitor providers to ensure the service is always quality.

Please note this role is an Independent Contractor position, you will be required to manage all aspects of being an Independent Contractor including superannuation, tax requirements, and expenses, along with providing your own car, computer, and phone, etc.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Coordinators assist people with a disability to build capacity to achieve their NDIS goals.





KEY FUNCTIONS BEING:

- Taking a holistic view by working effectively with the participant to coordinate, implement and maximize on identified NDIS plan goals.
- Building and maintaining pro-active relationships with NDIS registered non-registered providers and mainstream community-based resources.
- Ensuring participants are receiving qualitative value for money and encourage self-direction.
- Ensuring mainstream services such as housing, health, justice and education meet their obligations.
- Monitoring plan outcomes and expenditure.
- Undertaking regular training, continuous improvement, and staying abreast of key industry changes.
- Delivering clear accurate and timely record keeping in line with NDIS practice standards.

ABOUT YOU

You will:

- be proactive, resilient, adaptable, and able to work autonomously.

- have a high level of both verbal and written communication skills.
- have exceptional people skills.
- have great negotiating skills.
- enjoy working collaboratively.
- Have GREAT COMPUTER SKILLS
- You are or have been a Support Coordinator
- Or, you have transferrable skills or equivalent experience. Looking at you -Allied Health- Counsellors -Those currently studying any of these fields - Project Admin - C-level Executive Assistants.

You will need:

- 100 Points of identification.
- A valid Driver's license and comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Australia Business Number (ABN).
- Relevant State's Working With Children's Check.
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Copies of relevant course certification.
