Located in Brighton East, this established specialist medical practice provides high-quality care across fertility, endosurgery and women’s health. Led by experienced specialists and a dedicated Practice Manager, the team is supported by professional reception and clinical staff who take pride in creating a warm, compassionate and seamless patient experience. The Assignment

To assist with covering the leave of a staff member, we now offer a short-term assignment for an experienced Medical Receptionist for our client. Commencing Tuesday 25th August, the role requires cover around 2-3 days per week from the 25/08 - 16/09. Normal work hours are 9am - 5pm daily, however some shifts vary and you will need to be versatile to cover different days depending on the week.

Duties include

- Answering phones & replying to emails, booking appointments using Genie software and outlook email
- Preparing consulting sessions including checking all referrals are valid, results are in patient files ready for appointments, eg bloods, imaging,



CST histories uploaded
- New patient registrations entered
- Taking payments after consultation & medicare submissions
- Forward booking appointments
- Sending patient reminders
- Reviewing / proofreading and sending outgoing correspondence via Healthlink
- Packing / sterilising / autoclaving instruments
- Basic cleaning, tidying & restocking consulting rooms & reception area
- Provide meet and greet reception for sessional doctors on occasion
- Assisting with preparing post op theatre information packs

About You

The successful temp for this assignment will possess experience working within a specialists/surgical private practice. Genie software experience is essential. You must also be available for flexible shifts around 2-3 per week (varies week to week).

Additional information

- $35-$40 ph + super (depending on experience)
- Part-time temp role | 2-3 days a week | 9-5pm most days
- Genie software and experience with specialist surgical essential
