Leisure & Lifestyle Lead
A large, well-established residential aged care home near Hurstville is seeking an experienced Leisure & Lifestyle professional to join a stable team with a positive culture. With more than 100 residents, the home has an established lifestyle program and a team of four Lifestyle Assistants. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the program while working closely with the Facility Manager and wider care team.

About the Role
As the Leisure & Lifestyle Lead, you will lead the lifestyle program, support your team and ensure residents have access to meaningful activities that reflect their individual interests, needs and preferences.
This role combines team leadership, lifestyle program development, resident engagement and compliance within a well-run residential aged care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the four Lifestyle Assistants and provide guidance, support and direction.
- Develop and coordinate meaningful lifestyle programs for residents.
- Engage with residents to understand their interests, preferences and individual needs.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and the wider care team.
- Ensure lifestyle documentation and programs align with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Support continuous improvement across lifestyle services and resident engagement.
- Collaborate with the Facility Manager and clinical team to support positive resident outcomes.
About You
You are an empathetic, organised and resident-focused qualified who genuinely enjoys creating meaningful experiences for older people.
You will also bring:
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Health.
- Previous experience in a Leisure & Lifestyle role within Residential Aged Care.
- A sound understanding of the new Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Confidence leading and supporting a team.
- A collaborative approach to working with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Availability to commence as soon as possible.
