Gardening Crew Members – Parks & Open Spaces (Northern Suburbs!)

$35–$38/hr | Full-time hours | Temp → Perm

This is not basic labouring—this role suits people who understand plant care, presentation, and attention to detail , and who enjoy working outdoors as part of a solid, no-nonsense crew.

The Role

You’ll be working within an experienced horticulture team maintaining high-profile parks, streetscapes, and commercial landscapes across Melbourne’s West.

We currently have vacancies in

- Epping

- Truganina

Your day-to-day work will include:

- Detailed garden maintenance (pruning, planting, weeding, mulching)

- Garden bed works

- Hedge trimming and presentation work





- Weed control & herbicide application

- Brushcutting and edging

- Ride On Mowing

- General upkeep of landscaped areas and public spaces

What We’re Looking For

We’re after people who know what “positive” looks like in a garden—and take pride in achieving it.

Ideal experience:

- Parks & gardens / horticulture background

- Experience in commercial gardening or landscaping maintenance

- Experience Operating Zero Turn/Front deck and Tractor Mowers

- Experience Brush cutting, Hedging, Edging

- Knowledge of plant care and weed control

- Relevant horticulture qualifications (advantageous)

Tickets & requirements:

- White Card (essential)

- Working With Children Check (essential)

- Full driver’s licence (essential )

- MR/HR licence (bonus)

Most importantly:

- Reliable and turns up every day

- Takes pride in quality work

- Works well in a team and follows direction

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

What’s On Offer

- $35–$38/hr depending on experience

- 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

- Temp-to-permanent opportunity
