What you need to know...
- casual position
- the package: $35 to $42 per hour plus superannuation and casual loading
- location: Clarence Regional Aquatic Centre and Yamba Community Pool
About the role
We’re looking for reliable and attentive casual Lifeguards to keep our aquatic centre safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.
What you’ll do:
- Stay alert and provide active supervision to ensure everyone has a safe swim.
- Help maintain a tidy, well-kept pool area that meets all health and safety standards.
- Respond quickly and confidently to first aid and emergencies.
- Support pool hygiene and water quality checks.
- Assist with daily tasks like customer service, kiosk sales, and general admin when required.
You must have:
- Current Pool Lifeguard certificate.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification Current Working with Children Check.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

This position is located at Council's Clarence Regional Aquatic Centre and Yamba Community Pool, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
