Girrawong Preschool is warmly inviting passionate and dedicated Diploma and ECT trained Early Childhood Educators to join our supportive and caring team.

Girrawong Preschool is a not-for-profit, community-based preschool located on Biripi Country in Purfleet, NSW .

As a proudly Aboriginal Controlled Community Organisation , we are deeply committed to giving every child the very best start in their early learning journey. We value strong connections to Country, culture, community, and family , and we strive to create a nurturing setting where all children feel safe, supported, and celebrated.

Our preschool is a beautifully designed, purpose-built service licensed for 50 children . We are open 40 weeks of the year and close during school holidays.

What we are looking for

We are seeking educators who bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Essential Criteria

- Diploma and/or ECT in Early Childhood Education and Care

- A current Working With Children Check

- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

- A completed National Child safety training certificate





- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)

- A strong commitment to play-based learning and quality care

- Excellent communication and time management skills

- Engage with and supervise children, ensuring learning experiences are inclusive and responsive to individual needs

- Work collaboratively with a friendly and supportive team

- Contribute to planning and delivering meaningful educational programs

- Support positive outcomes for children, families, and the wider community
