We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Assistant Project Coordinator to join our Joinery division at our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Tullamarine.
This entry‑level role is ideal for someone with robust administration and computer skills who is eager to develop a career in project management. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing — Receiving and entering customer orders accurately.
- Drawing Interpretation — Assisting with interpreting product drawings and confirming customer requirements.
- Production Listing Support — Preparing listing information for factory production tasks.
- Customer Communication — Providing product information to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Internal Coordination — Liaising with clients and production teams regarding job details.
- Record Keeping — Maintaining job files and associated documentation.
- General Administration — Supporting the Project Coordination team with day‑to‑day administrative duties.
- Continuous Improvement — Participating in initiatives to improve processes and workflow.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
- Strong administration and computer skills, with high attention to detail.
- Reliable, organised, and eager to learn, with a proactive approach.
- Clear communication skills, able to work effectively with multiple departments.
- Problem‑solving ability and confidence working to deadlines.
- Technical curiosity, with willingness to learn how to read and interpret drawings.
- Experience in manufacturing, furniture, or construction is advantageous but not essential.
