Pool Service Technician

Evolution Pools & Spas is looking for a reliable and motivated Pool Service Technician to join our team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair and installation of swimming pools, spas and associated equipment including pumps, chlorinators, filters and plumbing.

The role involves working independently across Bendigo, Central Victoria and the Macedon Ranges, providing our customers with a high standard of service and workmanship.

This position is available on a casual or 6-month contract basis, with the opportunity for ongoing employment for the right person.

Previous pool industry experience isn't essential – full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

- Service and maintain swimming pools and spas
- Diagnose, repair and install pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators and associated plumbing
- Undertake water testing, treatment and balancing of pools and spas
- Troubleshoot equipment and water-quality issues
- Advise customers on pool and spa care and maintenance
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

What we’re looking for

We're looking for someone who:

- Is reliable, self-motivated and willing to learn
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work and working outdoors
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Has solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Can work independently while also being part of a team




- Is physically fit and comfortable performing physical tasks
- Holds a valid driver's licence – manual preferred, or willing to obtain
- Has a safe driving history
- Holds a current Working with Children Check and Police Check, or is willing to obtain them
- Is based in Bendigo, the Macedon Ranges or surrounding areas

Experience in the pool industry is not required. Experience in a trade, plumbing, irrigation, landscaping, maintenance, electrical, mechanical or other hands-on role would be well regarded.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job properly, not just getting it done quickly.
