South Staffs Water supplies a population of nearly 1.3 million. The area of supply stretches from the edge of Ashbourne in the

North, to Halesowen in the South, and from Burton-on-Trent in the East, to Kinver in the West.

The Role:

help ensure our customers receive accurate bills and excellent service

This field-based role covers the Staffordshire area, offering the opportunity to engage with customers daily while making a real

difference. You'll be provided with acompany vehicle, comprehensive benefits package, and the support of a business that

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately collect water meter readings from customer properties across the region
- Complete all assigned meter reading schedules within the month to ensure compliance with Guaranteed Standards Scheme (GSS)
- requirements
- Ensure meter data is recorded correctly and updated on company systems
- Engage professionally with customers, answering queries and providing excellent service
- Identify and report unusual consumption patterns, potential leaks, and faulty or damaged meters
- Recognise and appropriately support vulnerable customers where required
- Represent South Staffs Water and Cambridge Water in a professional and positive manner
- Work efficiently to complete daily schedules while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction

What You’ll Need:

- Full UK driving licence




- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a field-based team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when recording information
- A flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous field-based experience is beneficial but not essential
