Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council (OLALC) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Program Manager to provide operational leadership across our Domestic Violence, Youth and Specialist Homelessness Services programs.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple programs, supporting Program Managers and their teams, ensuring compliance with funding and legislative requirements, and driving continuous improvement across services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced community services leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, culturally safe services and supporting positive outcomes for Aboriginal people, families and communities.
About the Role
Provide operational leadership across the Domestic Violence, Youth and Specialist Homelessness Services programs.
Lead, mentor and support Program Managers to achieve high-quality service delivery and positive client outcomes.
Monitor program performance, funding targets, compliance requirements and operational priorities.
Oversee reporting to funding bodies and provide regular operational reports and recommendations to the CEO.
Support workforce development, staff wellbeing, performance management and a positive organisational culture.
Manage complex operational issues, staffing matters and service delivery challenges.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen systems, processes and program outcomes.
Build and maintain effective relationships with funding bodies, partner organisations, community stakeholders and government agencies.
Contribute to strategic planning, program development and organisational growth.
About You
You are an experienced operational leader with a strong understanding of community services, compliance and program management. You have a team-oriented leadership style, excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed services.
You will have:
- Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Human Services, Management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple community service programs or operational teams.
- Experience leading, mentoring and supporting managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, funding agreements, reporting requirements and quality assurance.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- The ability to build strong relationships with staff, community partners and funding agencies.
- A commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed and community-led practice, with an understanding of the needs and aspirations of Aboriginal communities.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- National Criminal History Check.
- Current Driver License.
