About the role:
If successful, you will provides tailored and accurateadministrative support to the SDMs, Employment Mentors and othersite employees within the Employment Portfolio. It works inconjunction with Employment Mentors to provide seamless service tojobseekers, reducing the number of administrative and monitoringactivities. This position may be a pathway to becoming anemployment mentor with AMES Australia for people with no previousemployment services experience or experience as an employmentmentor.
To be considered for this role, you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:
To be willing to complete the EmploymentServices Skills Set
Good interpersonal and communication skills,including the ability to communicate with a range ofclients over the phone, face to face and/or in writing
Strong computer skills,
including proficiencyin the Microsoft Office Applications, i.e Word, Excel, andPowerPoint and knowledge of database applications
Ability to take initiative, problem solve andtake the extra mile to engage clients
Strong organisational and time managementskills with willingness to learn
Exposure to financial processes, paymentsand/or petty cash management
Ability to work both independently andcollaboratively as part of a team in a busy environment
Ability to communicate service requirementsto job seekers whilst ensuring the delivery of excellentcustomer service
Demonstrated positive values of integrity,reliability, teamwork and professionalism consistent withthe AMES Vison and values and demonstrated commitment toquality and continuous improvement principles
