Venu Plus Management

Brisbane City

Venu Plus Management is looking for a creative, organised and hands‑on Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team.

Based in Upper Mount Gravatt , this casual role is ideal for someone who loves creating engaging content, understands what performs on social media and is comfortable getting out into venues to capture the action.

Working across a diverse portfolio of hospitality brands, you’ll be responsible for bringing our venues to life online - from filming food, drinks and events to planning content calendars, managing daily social activity and helping grow our audiences.

This is a varied role combining content creation, social media management, community engagement and marketing coordination - with genuine potential to grow into a full‑time position.

What you'll be doing

Your week will include a mix of on-site content creation, social media management and time working with our marketing team. Key responsibilities include:

- Creating, curating and scheduling engaging content across our hospitality brands, including Beach House Bar & Grill, Casa Cibo Italian, Madame Wu and Chu the Phat
- Visiting venues on a set weekly content schedule to photograph and film food, drinks, specials, new menu items, events and venue activity
- Editing photos and video footage into polished, engaging content for Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms
- Planning and maintaining content calendars across multiple brands and accounts
- Writing engaging, on‑brand captions and scheduling social media content
- Creating and posting daily Stories featuring specials, promotions, events, bookings and general venue content
- Developing and implementing social media campaigns aligned with broader marketing objectives and individual brand guidelines
- Coordinating influencer and content creator partnerships, including outreach, scheduling, venue liaison and content follow‑up
- Monitoring social media channels and responding to comments and messages in a timely,

professional and on‑brand manner
- Tracking key social media metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth and content performance, and providing regular reporting
- Liaising directly with venue managers to identify upcoming events, promotions, specials and content opportunities
- Collaborating with the wider marketing team to maintain consistent messaging, visual identity and brand voice
- Keeping across social media trends, platform updates, trending audio and emerging content formats
- Creating simple graphics and visual assets for social media using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Identifying new content ideas and opportunities to increase engagement and grow our online communities
- Assisting with light marketing administration one day per week in the office

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is creative and confident behind the camera, but equally organised when it comes to calendars, scheduling and managing multiple accounts.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience in social media management, content creation or marketing coordination
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and other major social platforms, including current algorithms, formats and best practices
- Confidence photographing and filming food, drinks, people, events and hospitality environments
- Video editing skills and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging Reels, Stories and short‑form content
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice across different brands
- A creative eye and the ability to generate fresh,

engaging content ideas
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience using social media scheduling and management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social or similar
- Working knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to use performance data to improve future content
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite
- An understanding of influencer and creator marketing
- A strong awareness of current social media trends, platform changes and emerging features
- The confidence to work independently in venues while also collaborating closely with our marketing and venue teams
- A current driver's licence and ability to travel between our venues
- A qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field is desirable, but practical experience and a strong portfolio are equally valued
- Experience creating content for hospitality, food, beverage, entertainment or lifestyle brands would be highly regarded.

What 's on offer

- Competitive casual rate
- Genuine opportunity for the position to grow into a full‑time role
- Set weekly fuel allowance to assist with travel between venues
- A diverse role working across multiple hospitality brands, each with its own personality and audience
- Plenty of opportunity to create content rather than spending every day behind a desk
- Support from an established Marketing & Communications team
