Our Client is a Steel distributor and Engineering company based in Smithfield.

They are currently seeking packaging staff and forklift drivers/machine operators assistants for Day shift 6-2pm

DAY SHIFT 6-2pm ($40 per hour)

Duties include but not limited;

- Reposition steel on plasma machine
- load and unload steel, plasma and laser beds
- weighing materials
- pack finished products
- read codes and labels
- assist in stocktakes
- goods receipting
- completion of con notes and run sheets

The successful candidate will have;

- Minimum of 6-12 months experience in the Metal/Manufacturing Industry is required
- Overhead Crane experience preferred not essential
- Must hold a current valid Forklift Licence at the time of application
- Own transport due to location
- Must have legal Australian work rights

PLEASE NOTE THE PERMANENT RATE IS $32 PER HOUR
