Clinical Fellow Higher (ST6+/Senior) in Gynaecological Oncology

A Vacancy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The post is that of a Senior Registrar level doctor, to work with the Gynaecological Oncology team for the entire duration of the post.

The post holder would be expected to support the theatre and outpatient duties, in addition to the multidisciplinary team service and all Inpatients under the care of the team.

In order to be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria: completed basic training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology up to ST5 level or above.

Please note that this post does not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition. However, it is an excellent prospect to gain substantial out of program experience in gynaecological surgery, oncology and peri-operative care.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading,



writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
