About the Role
In this newly created HR Business Partner role, you'll work closely with the Australian management team to provide HR expertise across talent, performance, policy and workforce planning. Leveraging other teams, you will also own the operational HR responsibility: HRIS, contracts, onboarding, payroll support, compliance and visa administration. Reporting to the APAC HR Director, you'll act as a trusted advisor on all people matters and play a key role in embedding streamlined and effective HR policies and processes.

Our client is a Perth-based manufacturer of proprietary engineering solutions, primarily serving the mining sector across Asia Pacific. As a local success story, the business attracted the interest of a global leader in an aligned sector leading to an acquisition. The acquisition has resulted in a major funding,
infrastructure and sales channels boost to the business that presents significant growth upside, particularly in overseas markets along with industries outside of mining.
About You
- Degree qualified in Human Resources Management or a related field
- 5+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner role, with high levels of autonomy
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and communication ability, with experience managing multiple relationships and priorities
- Experience effectively managing conflict and mediating to achieve neutral outcomes
- Comfortable operating across both strategic advisory and hands‑on operational HR delivery
