A recruitment and staffing firm based in India, providing permanent placements, contract staffing, and bespoke offshore resource-building (RPO) solutions to corporate clients.

As part of its international expansion, the company is establishing a commercial presence in Australia and is seeking a local sales leader to build corporate relationships and drive revenue.

The Role

The Fractional Sales Manager / Sales Director will serve as the company's local commercial leader in Australia, leveraging an established B2B network to open corporate relationships, build market credibility, and generate repeatable revenue.

The role will focus on business development, enterprise sales, market positioning, and pipeline management while working closely with offshore sales and recruitment teams in India and the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Market Entry

- Activate existing networks of HR, procurement, and executive buyers across Australia to secure introductory meetings.
- Adapt the company's offshore delivery value proposition to Australian corporate buyers and market requirements.
- Establish the company as a credible cross-border staffing partner combining onshore accountability with offshore delivery.

Business Development & Sales

- Target and engage Australian companies requiring IT, engineering, healthcare, and corporate professional services talent.
- Lead client presentations, pitch decks, and proposal submissions.
- Own negotiations and closing of master service agreements (MSAs).
- Serve as the local representative for complex commercial discussions and strategic client relationships.





Pipeline & Cross-Border Operations

- Provide direction to offshore Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) based in the Philippines and India.
- Work closely with the recruitment delivery team in India to align candidate pipelines, screening standards, and speed-to-market with Australian expectations.
- Maintain the Australian sales pipeline within the company's CRM.
- Provide regular performance updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications

- Legally reside and be based in Australia, with deep exposure to local corporate markets.
- 7+ years of proven B2B sales experience within Australian recruitment and staffing.
- Established skilled network among HR Directors, Chief People Officers, Procurement Managers, and hiring executives across Australia.
- Strong understanding of hybrid staffing models combining onshore client relationships with offshore delivery.
- Knowledge of Australian labour standards, Fair Work requirements, payroll considerations, and contractor/permanent hiring regulations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build outbound sales processes independently.
- Exceptional professional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- 5+ years of staffing and recruiting experience.

Compensation

- Competitive daily or monthly base retainer based on the agreed fractional commitment.
- Uncapped commission on client acquisition, initial placements, and ongoing contract margin shares.

Time Commitment

- Part-time / fractional.
- Approximately 2–3 days per week, with flexible hours and working days.
