Laneway Talent is currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Specialist to join a client team and support the ongoing development, administration and optimisation of the ServiceNow platform.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on ServiceNow skilled who can work across platform configuration, development, integrations and continuous improvement, while working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing ServiceNow capabilities across the organisation, ensuring the platform continues to meet business and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Configure, develop and maintain the ServiceNow platform
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications, workflows and modules
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into effective ServiceNow solutions
- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, scripts and integrations
- Support platform administration, configuration and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Support testing, releases and deployment activitiesInvestigate and resolve platform issues and defects
- Maintain technical documentation and platform standards
- Contribute to ServiceNow governance, security and best-practice practices
- Provide technical advice and support to business and technology teams
- Assist with continuous improvement and optimisation of the ServiceNow environment
About You
We are looking for a ServiceNow Specialist with strong hands-on experience across the ServiceNow platform.
You will ideally have:
- Strong ServiceNow development and configuration experience
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM or HRSD
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow workflows and platform configuration
- Experience developing integrations with ServiceNow
- Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience with ServiceNow administration and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of ITIL and service management principles
- Experience working with technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a broader technology team
Nice to Have
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Experience with ServiceNow implementation or transformation programs
- Experience with enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments
- Experience with automated testing and deployment
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
