Senior Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions

- End-to-end ownership of sell-side, buy-side and capital raising mandates within a high-touch mid-market setting.
- Direct client exposure from day one, advising founders, owner-managed businesses and primary shareholders.
- Clear pathway to Director-level with responsibility across execution, client management and early business development.

This opportunity sits within a specialist mid-market M&A; advisory platform focused on delivering strategic outcomes for business owners across a range of sectors. The firm operates a hands-on, execution-focused model, with senior professionals closely involved across all stages of the transaction lifecycle. In addition to execution,

the role involves direct interaction with founders and business owners, requiring the ability to communicate complex financial outcomes with clarity and commercial rigour. You will also oversee junior team members and contribute to proposal development and broader pipeline activity.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Proven exposure to end-to-end M&A; processes
- Strong technical capability across financial modelling and valuation methodologies (DCF, trading comparables and precedent transactions).
- Demonstrated experience in transaction execution.
- Exposure to mid-market or owner-managed businesses (advantageous).
- Experience with private equity processes and understanding of buyer dynamics (desirable).
- Ability to independently manage workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Confidence in engaging with clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
- A track record of contributing to the development and mentoring of junior team members.
