The Low Down

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to lead a team of five Payroll Officers within a busy, centralised payroll function supporting 22 sites. You'll report to the Group Payroll Manager and take ownership of the day-to-day running of the team, ensuring payroll is accurate, deadlines are met and issues are resolved quickly. The environment is complex, with 12 industrial instruments, a fortnightly payroll cycle and a recently implemented Dayforce platform. Dayforce experience is essential for this one.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Lead, coach and support a team of five Payroll Officers
- Coordinate fortnightly payroll, workloads, priorities and deadlines
- Manage escalated payroll queries,



errors and under/overpayments
- Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements and industrial instruments
- Support Dayforce testing, configuration, reporting and continuous improvemen

What Success Looks Like:

- Proven experience leading a payroll team
- Strong Australian payroll knowledge
- Experience interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements and complex industrial instruments
- $130k-$140k base + super
- Hybrid working - 3 days office / 2 days WFH
