About the Role As the Centre Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of this well-established long day care service, ensuring the continued delivery of outstanding education and care. You will provide strong leadership to a stable and experienced team, maintain high levels of family engagement and satisfaction, and drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. This role presents an opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood leader who is passionate about mentoring and developing educators, building strong relationships with families and the wider community, and upholding the centre's long-standing reputation for quality, professionalism, and care. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring ongoing compliance,
operational performance, and positive outcomes for children, families, and staff.

- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of educators and staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring smooth and effective centre management.
- Build and maintain occupancy through strong community engagement and family relationships.
- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality educational programmes aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
- Build strong partnerships with children, families, and the wider community.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations, and all relevant legislation.
- Manage centre budgets, resources, and operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the centre's long-term growth and success.
About you:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in a Centre Director, Centre Manager, Assistant Director, or other leadership role within an early childhood setting.
- Robust understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience growing occupancy and building positive relationships within the community.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for children, families, and educators.
