Immediate opportunity for an experienced Lawyer to review and advise on legal risks in contracts and other commercial dealings to ensure regulatory compliance in a global business.

Key tasks:

- Research, review and interpret legislation and case law to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Draft and review non-disclosure and other agreements and legal documents as required.
- Draft legal advice regarding gaps in compliance.
- Research and provide advice on areas of law as required (eg, privacy and data protection law, workplace law, trade law, contract law, tort law, and corporations law).
- Discuss, and engage with stakeholders and agents of the business regarding legal and compliance matters.

About you

To succeed you will need:

- Bachelor of Law
- A proven record, and a very solid ability to analyse and evaluate a broad range of legal and compliance risks across various regulatory regimes that impact a global manufacturing business
- Background in contract review including procurement contracts, sales contracts, and confidentiality agreements
- Demonstrated legal problem solving skills and the ability to engage in intellectual group discussions in a mature and objective way.
