Job Description

Tuscany Garden We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener to join our growing team in Sydney. The successful candidate will work across a variety of residential and commercial landscaping projects and will be involved in both the construction and ongoing maintenance of gardens and outdoor spaces.

Task & responsibilities

- Preparing sites and soil for landscaping and planting works
- Planting trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers and other vegetation
- Installing and maintaining lawns and new turf
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
- Constructing garden beds and landscaped areas
- Assisting with retaining walls and other landscaping structures
- Pruning trees, shrubs and hedges
- Lawn mowing, edging, weeding and general garden maintenance
- Applying fertilisers, soil conditioners and other plant treatments where required
- Operating landscaping and gardening tools and equipment
- Maintaining outdoor areas to a high professional standard
- Working safely and efficiently as part of the landscaping team

Qualifications & experience

- To be considered for this position,



applicants should have: Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture or a closely related qualification
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in landscaping or professional gardening
- Practical knowledge of plants, turf, irrigation and garden maintenance
- Experience using landscaping and gardening tools and equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Good attention to detail and a robust work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
