HARKE Recruitment is seeking experienced VCE Mathematics teachers for current and upcoming opportunities across Melbourne.
Schools are looking for teachers who can confidently deliver VCE Specialist Mathematics and/or Mathematical Methods , contribute to strong senior results, and bring transparent curriculum knowledge into established Mathematics faculties.
This is suited to teachers already working at VCE level, as well as strong senior Maths teachers looking for their next move across Melbourne.
Who Will Be Shortlisted
HARKE will prioritise teachers who can demonstrate experience in one or more of the following:
- VCE Specialist Mathematics Units 1–2 and/or 3–4
- VCE Mathematical Methods Units 1–2 and/or 3–4
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian VCE Mathematics curriculum or equivalent*
- Experience developing and assessing SACs, moderation and exam preparation
- Confidence using CAS and other mathematical technologies
- Strong subject knowledge across calculus, functions, vectors, probability, complex numbers and mathematical reasoning
- Proven ability to teach academically capable senior students and prepare them for external assessment
Previous Specialist Mathematics Units 3–4 experience will be highly regarded, but strong teachers with Specialist 1–2 and/or Methods 3–4 experience will also be considered.

- Work collaboratively within established Mathematics faculties
- Maintain high academic expectations while building strong relationships with students
Teachers who have only taught junior Mathematics may be considered for other opportunities, but these roles are specifically focused on senior Mathematics capability.
